Radiologic Technologist - Radiology General, onsite, Granby, CT. Compensation is not specified. The Greater Manchester Region serves a region of 300,000 people in 19 towns. Under the direction of a Workflow Coordinator, Manager/Supervisor and or Team Leader, performs or assists in radiographic procedures at a level that does not require direct supervision over technical detail. Performs and assists in a variety of technical procedures that require independent judgment, good knowledge of anatomy, positioning and a thorough technical knowledge of equipment. Assumes responsibility for a designated area or procedure as may be required.

What you'll do

• Performs all routine radiographic procedures according to department standards, protocols and guidelines.
• Exhibits proficiency in conducting routine radiographic procedures and fluoroscopic exams.
• Provides proper clinical patient care while performing diagnostic procedures.
• Provides careful critique and assessment over the image quality.
• Exhibits accuracy in computer documentation.
• Mentors students in the clinical and ethical aspects of the Radiologic Technologist profession.
• Maintains stock levels and personal protection equipment of assigned stations.
• Exhibits constant awareness of infection control standards.
• Works cooperatively to accomplish a task as a member of the team.
• Performs miscellaneous duties as may be required.

Experience

Must be fully knowledgeable and capable of performing independently in at least two modalities.
