What you'll do

• Maintain proper oil levels and record oil usage by machine
• monitor usage trends and notify the Maintenance Manager of increases
• inspect and clean oil reservoirs
• write work orders for leaks or other potential issues
• inspect equipment for leaks, missing guards, hoses, and debris
• perform routine preventive maintenance including oil changes and work on filters, fans, pumps, chains, and bearings
• handle waste oil and hazardous-material collections
• maintain supplies and inventory
• repair or replace air lines
• keep the fluids room and oil cart orderly.
