Job overview

Designer, Motion & Brand is a hybrid role based in the San Francisco area, working from the San Francisco office two days a week. The base salary range is $99,000–$166,100 per year. The role supports PagerDuty’s in-house Brand creative team. The designer creates motion and static creative that maintains brand consistency and supports campaigns and other company needs. Working with the Art Director and cross-functional partners, the role turns briefs into polished assets and uses AI tools to explore ideas and support creative production.

What you'll do

• Design and animate motion content for brand and campaign initiatives
• create static digital ads, social graphics, presentation templates, and event collateral
• partner with the Art Director and creative project manager to scope and deliver work through the creative request pipeline
• maintain brand consistency
• collaborate with Communications, Marketing, Events, and other stakeholders
• manage concurrent projects and shifting priorities
• use AI tools such as Claude and Gemini for ideation, concepting, and production.
