What you'll do

• Manage payroll employees, accounts payable employees, and a staff accountant
• lead the Accounting Department
• assist with accounting applications, maintenance, reconciliation, and reporting
• ensure accurate and timely accounting records and financial reporting
• communicate with hospital management and internal and external auditors
• support compliance with policies, procedures, and applicable guidelines
• protect patient and financial information
• participate in cost-saving and productivity initiatives
• analyze accounting information and resolve discrepancies.
