The Certified Medical Assistant role is an onsite, clinic-based position in Pleasant View, TN, with a consistent Monday–Friday schedule of 7:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m. in four 10-hour shifts and a 30-minute lunch break. Compensation is not specified. Bookmark Medical’s stated mission is to improve lives through high-quality continuous care. The medical assistant supports providers and patients throughout clinic visits by preparing patients, assisting with exams, performing testing and supervised vaccinations, and maintaining accurate records. The role also helps coordinate follow-ups and clinic operations so care teams can focus on patients.

What you'll do

• Welcome and room patients
• take vital signs and update medical histories
• support providers during exams
• perform point-of-care testing and administer vaccines under supervision
• document in the EHR
• support patient education, follow-ups, and communication
• help manage calls, referrals, prior authorizations, and scheduling
• maintain clean, stocked exam rooms and follow safety guidelines.
