What you'll do

• Collect, analyze, supervise, and report samples of water, steam, oil, and fuels
• evaluate water quality and purity and recommend actions
• oversee chemical controls and hazardous chemical transfers
• monitor facility discharges against NPDES permit parameters
• calibrate measurement equipment
• coordinate laboratory and water-treatment maintenance
• monitor water-treatment systems
• prepare technical reports and certify laboratory results
• maintain chemical inventories and laboratory records
• support regulatory audits and inspections
• manage laboratory waste according to safety and environmental requirements.
