Senior Manager of Accounts Payable

The Senior Manager of Accounts Payable role is onsite in Columbia, MD, with a stated salary range of $90,000–$110,000 per year. The position is part of Havtech’s Accounting Department and reports to the Senior Controller. The manager leads the Accounts Payable function as both a people leader and process owner. The role strengthens controls, compliance, and process efficiency while supporting accurate payments, vendor relationships, audit readiness, and cross-functional service.

What you'll do

• Lead and develop the AP Lead and broader AP team
• oversee accurate and timely invoice and payment processing
• manage end-to-end AP processes
• maintain policies, procedures, workflows, and documentation
• improve automation and technology
• establish AP metrics
• maintain internal controls and audit readiness
• oversee vendor records and escalated matters
• partner with Procurement and other departments
• support close, reconciliations, accruals, reporting, and analysis
• manage payment timing
• and maintain vendor 1099 compliance.
