The Physician (Family or Internal Medicine) role is onsite at the Burlington Community Health Center in Burlington, NC. The physician provides ambulatory primary care across age groups, including diagnosis and treatment of acute and chronic illness, preventive and well-child care, minor procedures, and occasional medical emergencies. The role supports continuity and quality of care for scheduled patients, walk-ins, and add-ons, while also contributing to administrative work, quality improvement, and community service.

What you'll do

• Provide ambulatory primary care, including diagnosis and treatment of acute and chronic illness, preventive care, well-child care, minor surgical procedures, and occasional medical emergencies
• see scheduled patients, walk-ins, and add-ons
• provide coverage during clinic hours and telephone consultation as needed
• perform related administrative tasks
• participate in quality improvement and community service. Precepting UNC Family Medicine residents is available but not required.
