The Landscape Maintenance Crew Leader role is onsite in Waukee, Iowa, working on assigned residential and commercial routes. Compensation is $22–$26 per hour, based on experience. The crew supports RJ Lawn & Landscape's landscape maintenance services for new and existing customers. The crew leader directs field work and ensures assigned properties receive safe, efficient, high-quality maintenance. The role coordinates daily routes, crew tasks, materials, and records, checks completed work, and communicates site issues to the Landscape Maintenance Manager and customers.

What you'll do

• Lead the assigned crew on site and enforce quality and safety standards
• review route schedules, job scopes, customer notes, and instructions
• confirm equipment and materials and record crew time
• brief crew members on tasks
• inspect properties and report plant health or scope issues
• oversee bed maintenance, trimming, watering, and mulch work
• verify quality before leaving
• record time and materials in iCREWtek
• report incidents
• follow pesticide posting and chemical handling requirements
• clean equipment and prepare for the next workday
• perform snow removal and frost patrol duties as assigned.
