This position helps residents with activities of daily living and provides timely, compassionate support so residents can have positive daily experiences. Working under the nurse in charge, the assistant coordinates with the care team and responds to resident needs, including emergency calls as directed.

What you'll do

• Provide timely, supportive care and encouragement
• assist residents with oral care, toileting, bathing, incontinence care, and dressing as needed
• provide supervision, cueing, or other non-weight-bearing transfer and ambulation assistance as needed
• safely move carts, laundry hampers, and equipment
• coordinate with residents and the team under the nurse in charge
• respond to Independent Living residents’ emergency calls as directed.
