The Creative Design Intern — Spring 2027 role is onsite in Washington, DC. Compensation is $19–$24 per hour, depending on undergraduate or graduate candidacy. Invariant is a bipartisan government relations and communications firm providing strategic advice to companies, trade associations, nonprofits, and individuals; the intern works directly with the Art Director on client work. The intern supports client accounts by producing and updating digital and print design assets, helping build branded presentation templates, and coordinating workload with the Art Director and digital team. This work helps deliver creative materials for active client campaigns.

What you'll do

• Produce social graphics, presentation decks, digital assets, and print collateral
• edit and export existing Figma, Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign files
• support branded PowerPoint template development
• track requests and workload, update statuses, and flag blockers
• conduct light research for creative briefs and campaign concepts
• collaborate with the Art Director and digital team.
