The Systems Engineer II – Cybersecurity and CSfC role is onsite in Linthicum Heights, MD, with a salary range of $180,000–$200,000 per year. Tensley Consulting supports mission engineering for the Intelligence Community and Department of Defense. This engineer researches, designs, integrates, and tests cybersecurity products and secure enterprise infrastructure. The role provides technical leadership for CSfC architecture, risk mitigation, Windows and VMware environments, Active Directory, and Zero Trust capabilities.

What you'll do

• Research, develop, integrate, and test cybersecurity products and emerging technologies
• analyze risks and develop mitigations
• evaluate cloud and enterprise architectures
• develop DoDCAR models using NextGen and BluGen
• support CSfC architecture design and integration
• produce requirements, design documentation, and test plans
• maintain VMware, Windows Server, Active Directory, Group Policy, WSUS updates, and security patches
• prepare for audits and support compliance
• coordinate vendor troubleshooting
• communicate findings to engineering teams and government stakeholders
• design and troubleshoot enterprise networks.
