What you'll do

• Move and position materials and workpieces, with assistance as needed
• transport materials or signal crane operators
• file, grind, or scrape edges and surfaces
• compare workpieces with straightedges or templates
• lift, move, clamp, and bolt dies and fixtures
• operate sandblasting equipment to clean tank surfaces
• sort, mark, or tag finished work
• clean dies, work areas, machines, and equipment
• remove workpieces and scrap from machines.
