What you'll do

• use safe transfer and ambulation techniques
• assist with exercises and ordered range-of-motion procedures when appropriately trained
• handle patient laundry
• use equipment safely
• teach and observe home safety practices
• recognize emergencies and follow emergency procedures
• follow care plans and complete assigned tasks
• communicate with clients, families, caregivers, and the office
• document patient condition and report changes to the assigned nurse supervisor.
