The Medical Assistant role is onsite in Phoenix, AZ. Compensation is $18–$23 per hour. The position supports a physiatry practice dedicated to foot and ankle care and a welcoming patient environment. The assistant helps clinicians deliver patient care by rooming patients, assisting with examinations and procedures, maintaining accurate records, and coordinating appointments and follow-up. The role also supports safe, organized clinic operations and patient education.

What you'll do

• Room patients and obtain vital signs and medical history
• assist physicians with examinations and in-office procedures
• prepare treatment rooms and sterilize instruments
• assist with dressings and wound care and provide patient education
• document in the electronic medical record
• schedule appointments and coordinate follow-up
• verify medications and update records
• maintain inventory and stock exam rooms
• follow OSHA and HIPAA guidelines.

Why this role

Full-time, Monday–Friday day schedule; Thursdays begin at 6 AM and other weekdays at 7 AM. Medical Assistant certification is preferred but not required.
