Plastics Machine Operator — 2nd and 3rd Shifts

The Plastics Machine Operator role is full-time and onsite in Aurora, IL, with second- and third-shift openings. Starting pay is $18 per hour plus shift differential. Pretium Packaging designs and manufactures packaging solutions for a range of industries. The operator sets up and runs production equipment, monitors machine performance, performs routine maintenance, and inspects finished products. The work supports safe, consistent production and quality standards across packaging lines.

What you'll do

• Start and operate production machines
• verify machine settings and materials
• clean filters and perform minor maintenance
• monitor production and make adjustments
• inspect samples against specifications
• notify supervisors when repairs are needed
• document issues and production or quality data
• maintain a clean, safe work area
• assist with operator training and provide break coverage.
