Senior Systems Support Engineer

The Senior Systems Support Engineer role is onsite in Pleasanton, CA, with support for Roche campuses in Pleasanton and Santa Clara, CA, and external sites. Pay is $36.22–$78.04 per hour. The role exists to keep laboratory systems and their network connections reliable, qualified, and secure. It contributes by maintaining and troubleshooting instruments and infrastructure, documenting service and qualification work, and coordinating responsive support with laboratory, IT, and engineering teams.

What you'll do

• Perform preventive maintenance and installation qualifications
• troubleshoot and repair instrument hardware and software
• install, relocate, and configure instruments and control units
• establish and troubleshoot network connections
• manage IP addresses and Fortigate firewalls
• resolve connectivity issues involving TCP/IP, VLANs, switches, routing, DNS/DHCP, VPNs, and firewall rules
• document service activities and coordinate requests through ServiceNow.
