The CNC Lathe Machinist — Multi-Axis / Swiss, 1st Shift role is onsite in Madison Heights, MI. Pay is up to $32 per hour. The position is with a precision machining company and follows a Monday–Friday schedule from 5:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. The machinist handles CNC lathe setups and production, making offsets and minor program edits while maintaining quality and efficiency. The role supports precision manufacturing through inspection, blueprint interpretation, and troubleshooting.

What you'll do

• Perform complete CNC lathe setups
• operate machines during production runs
• make offsets and minor program edits as needed
• inspect quality using calipers, micrometers, and other precision tools
• read blueprints and GD&T requirements and CNC code
• maintain production efficiency and quality
• troubleshoot machining issues.
