International Transportation Manager

What you'll do

• Define and maintain international transportation processes and standards
• establish handoffs and communication with Trade Compliance, Supply Chain, Logistics, and program operations
• implement shipment visibility, cost tracking, and supplier metrics
• identify shipping routes and lanes
• develop consolidation strategies
• select and manage freight forwarders, customs brokers, carriers, and specialized providers
• coordinate engines, oversized cargo, dangerous goods, and specialized shipments
• create escalation and rapid-response plans
• oversee transportation planning and execution
• ensure compliance with FAA, DOD, ITAR, and other applicable requirements
• track hazardous or controlled materials
• support audits, inventory reconciliations, and reporting.
