The Acquisition Strategy Specialist – Senior and Expert Tracks role is fully onsite at NGA facilities in the Fort Belvoir–Springfield, VA area. Pay is $125,000–$185,000 per year. MDW Associates provides consulting, management, advisory, and decision-support services to federal government clients; this role supports the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency. The specialist develops acquisition strategies and portfolio plans, evaluates costs and risks, and coordinates technical, financial, contracting, security, and mission stakeholders. The work helps align acquisition decisions and emerging capabilities with government mission requirements.

What you'll do

• Develop acquisition strategies, statements of work, acquisition plans, source-selection approaches, program plans, and system roadmaps
• analyze cost-benefit tradeoffs, affordability, schedule, performance, and risk
• facilitate integrated product teams
• develop investment roadmaps and portfolio analyses
• connect GEOINT mission needs with commercial capabilities
• manage commercial GEOINT acquisition activities
• evaluate emerging technologies and prototype approaches
• prepare executive briefings and decision materials.
