Commercial HVAC Sales Engineer

The Commercial HVAC Sales Engineer role is an onsite position in Tanner, AL. Compensation is not specified. Air Engineers supports commercial HVAC customers and is a long-standing independent Trane Technologies distributor and Mitsubishi partner. The role combines technical application support with consultative sales to grow the company’s commercial and VRF business. It helps customers select and apply HVAC systems, develop project proposals, and coordinate solutions through project development and delivery.

What you'll do

• Develop and promote commercial VRF solutions
• review mechanical plans, specifications, schedules, and project requirements
• assist with system design, equipment selection, configuration, and application questions
• prepare selections, quotations, and proposals
• provide technical guidance on heat pump and heat recovery applications, controls, zoning, and integration
• build customer and industry relationships
• identify project opportunities
• coordinate project documentation and support with internal teams and manufacturers.

Why this role
