Physician Emergency Medicine

An emergency physician who has special qualifications to manage emergencies in infants and children. Position works on a shift-based schedule and does not accrue PTO or CME days. Interviews patients to obtain information such as symptoms, medical histories, and family histories. Performs and/or interprets diagnostic tests as needed.
