Direct Support Professional (DSP)

The Direct Support Professional (DSP) role is onsite in Bangor, ME, with pay of $17–$22 per hour based on experience and schedule. What you'll do

• Support daily living skills, personal care, meal preparation, and household routines
• follow individual support plans and help people work toward personal goals
• assist with medication administration after required certification
• provide transportation to appointments, work, and community activities
• encourage community participation and independence
• document daily notes, progress, and incidents
• report health, safety, or behavioral concerns
• use respectful approaches and de-escalation when needed
• maintain a safe home environment
• communicate with families, guardians, and team members
• participate in meetings, training, and planning.
