Apprentice or Journeyman Line Worker is an onsite role at the Bushland Service Center in Amarillo, TX. The anticipated starting pay is $30.93 to $53.16 per hour. The role constructs, maintains, removes, and restores high-voltage distribution and transmission lines, including emergency repairs. Apprentices develop these skills through a Department of Labor-certified program, while journeyman workers perform the full range of line work and troubleshooting.

What you'll do

• Construct, maintain, and remove distribution and transmission lines
• support maintenance and emergency repairs and storm restoration
• perform overhead and underground line work, construction, maintenance, and troubleshooting as applicable to qualification level
• respond to after-hours and weekend callouts
• attend apprentice schools in years two through four if hired as an apprentice. The position may require extended travel.
