The Flight Dynamicist is a full-time, onsite position based in National City, CA, with a salary range of $107,900 to $195,050 per year. This role supports the Defense Systems Advanced Development Organization in modeling and simulation for aerospace vehicles. This position exists to perform detailed analysis of flight dynamics, trajectory design, and vehicle performance for missiles, hypersonic vehicles, and satellites. The dynamicist will contribute to a multi-disciplinary team to solve complex aerospace engineering problems.

What you'll do

• Develop and analyze 3DOF and 6DOF flight dynamics models, perform trajectory design and optimization, design GNC algorithms, develop high-fidelity simulations, conduct sensitivity analyses, and support flight test planning and data analysis.
