Mechanical Project Manager, HVAC Construction

The Mechanical Project Manager, HVAC Construction role is onsite in Salinas, CA, and full-time. Compensation is $120,000–$150,000 per year. The role oversees complex mechanical construction projects and serves as the primary liaison with general contractors, clients, and project stakeholders. The manager coordinates project scope, schedule, budget, and risk to deliver work on time, within budget, and to quality standards. The role connects engineering, preconstruction, procurement, construction management, and field operations while supporting project-team development and customer satisfaction.

What you'll do

• Manage project scope, schedule, budget, and risk
• serve as the main contact for owners, general contractors, and stakeholders
• oversee project engineering, cost tracking, and business management
• mentor project team members
• collaborate with field teams on jobsite challenges
• report on completion, customer satisfaction, and financial results
• coordinate preconstruction, estimating, procurement, and construction management. Requires 5–7 years managing mechanical/HVAC construction projects
• a related bachelor’s degree is preferred.
