The Assistant Store Manager role is onsite at the York Road store in Towson, MD. Pay is $19.10–$22.10 per hour; bilingual English/Spanish employees may earn an additional $1.50 per hour. Goodwill Industries of the Chesapeake offers the opportunity to support a community-focused mission. The assistant manager supports store leadership and daily operations, supervises and develops employees and volunteers, and helps meet sales, production, and expense goals. The role assumes store leadership when the Store Manager is absent and helps maintain a safe, organized, customer- and donor-focused store.

What you'll do

• Support the Store Manager in store operations
• supervise, train, schedule, and coach employees and volunteers
• provide customer and donor service
• help achieve sales, production, and expense-control goals
• maintain a clean, safe, organized store
• investigate and document accidents, injuries, and safety issues
• oversee merchandising, inventory flow, and sales-floor presentation
• address customer concerns and promote Goodwill’s mission and values
• assume store leadership when the Store Manager is absent.
