The role supports the Store Manager in operating the retail store, including customer service, merchandise processing and presentation, staff training, and store opening and closing. It helps maintain accurate transactions, secure cash handling, and consistent store operations, including when the Store Manager is absent.

What you'll do

• Assist with store operations and perform cashiering and processing duties across retail areas
• open and close the store and complete related paperwork. Assume full store responsibility in the Store Manager’s absence, direct personnel, maintain records, ensure accurate sales transactions and appropriate donated-goods processing, keep merchandise stocked and professionally displayed, evaluate customer service, inspect merchandise for quality and pricing, train and evaluate new employees, assist customers and donors, process donated merchandise, and handle cash, electronic transactions, registers, and deposits securely.
