The Automated Test Applications Engineer – Defense and Aerospace role is onsite five days per week in North Reading, MA, with compensation of $126,800–$202,200 annually. Teradyne’s Defense & Aerospace Division develops mission-critical test solutions for military and aerospace customers. The engineer turns customer requirements into integrated automated test solutions by guiding hardware design, developing software, and integrating systems. The role supports design reviews, troubleshooting, documentation, and delivery of test equipment and software for defense and aerospace applications.

What you'll do

• Develop strategies for automated test solutions
• present designs at system and design reviews
• collaborate with electrical and mechanical engineers
• develop C# software and operator interfaces
• integrate and debug hardware and software
• document software
• support occasional travel up to 10% or greater.
