General Laborer, Loading and Unloading

The General Laborer, Loading and Unloading role is onsite for projects in Sanford, NC; Charlotte, NC; Virginia; and South Carolina. Pay is $17–$21 per hour; per diem may be available depending on project assignment and eligibility. The role supports large-scale construction projects through material handling and general construction assistance. This position helps keep jobsite materials and equipment moving safely and efficiently so construction crews can carry out daily project operations. The laborer loads, unloads, transports, stages, and organizes supplies, assists with deliveries and cleanup, and follows jobsite safety requirements.

What you'll do

• Load and unload construction materials, tools, equipment, and supplies
• move, stack, organize, stage, and distribute materials around the jobsite
• assist with receiving deliveries and checking materials
• support construction crews and daily project operations
• use approved tools and material-handling equipment safely
• report damage or unsafe conditions
• maintain clean and organized work areas
• assist with cleanup and debris removal
• follow safety requirements and use personal protective equipment.
