What you'll do
- Escort patients to exam rooms and prepare them for examinations and procedures
- record vital signs
- perform procedures such as phlebotomy, injections, EKGs, and Holter monitoring
- assist providers with procedures, medications, and patient education
- handle phone nursing tasks when appropriate, including triage, pre-certifications, referrals, and prescription calls
- perform clerical duties and contact patients as directed
- prepare records
- schedule appointments if needed
- maintain exam rooms and common areas
- follow company policies, site protocols, OSHA, and HIPAA requirements.

Why this role
Certified or Registered Medical Assistant certification is required. LPN candidates must have x-ray certification as a plus, not a requirement. High school diploma or equivalent required; additional vocational or college credits preferred. Six months of similar clinical experience is preferred.
