Project Manager, Construction Projects

The Project Manager role is onsite in Tucson, AZ. Compensation is not specified. Matrix Service’s project work supports construction activities for its clients. This role directs multiple field projects of moderate risk, scope, and complexity, coordinating craft disciplines and overseeing work to meet design, budget, schedule, and safety expectations. It also supports client relationships and the development of new business opportunities.

What you'll do

• Direct and manage multiple field projects
• liaise with clients and assess project scope and resources
• establish project objectives, policies, procedures, and performance standards
• oversee estimates and proposals
• staff key field positions
• monitor construction against design, budget, and schedule
• provide technical assistance and manage change orders
• oversee project financial performance, billings, and collections
• develop new business opportunities. Travel to assigned project sites for extended periods as required.
