What you'll do

• Interpret customer drawings, geometric dimensioning and tolerancing, work instructions, and inspection plans
• mount and load tooling and fixtures
• set offsets and work zeros
• produce first-piece inspection parts
• troubleshoot speeds, feeds, and tool wear
• operate and set up CNC machines
• coordinate first-piece approval and inspection plans with Quality
• work with programmers on technical issues
• mentor operators
• document work in inspection plans and the ERP system
• use calibrated measuring equipment and follow safety and quality procedures.
