The Lead Toddler Early Childhood Teacher role is onsite in Knoxville, TN. Pay is $13–$15 per hour. The position is based at Kidz Academy’s childcare center at 477 Park 40 North Boulevard and focuses on children aged 12 to 36 months. The lead teacher creates a safe, nurturing, and stimulating classroom that supports children’s social, emotional, and cognitive development. The role coordinates age-appropriate curriculum and activities, guides the teaching team, and builds communication and partnerships with families.

What you'll do

• Coordinate and implement curriculum and classroom activities based on developmentally appropriate practices and early learning standards
• plan individual and group activities
• model and coach the teaching team
• communicate with parents through discussions, progress reports, and conferences
• meet center policies and state regulations
• maintain classroom hygiene, cleanliness, safety, and security
• supervise assistants and volunteers
• maintain records and a professional development plan.
