The Commercial and Multi-Family Door Estimator role is onsite in Longwood, FL. Compensation is $70,000–$80,000 per year, based on experience. The role supports Unico Building Supply of Florida’s growing commercial and multi-family division, which supplies building materials and turnkey installation services. The estimator reviews project documents, calculates material and labor needs, and prepares competitive bids for door packages. Coordination with vendors, contractors, sales, and operations helps ensure project requirements are accurately addressed from estimating through award.

What you'll do

• Review architectural drawings, door schedules, specifications, and construction documents
• perform material takeoffs for commercial and multi-family door packages
• estimate doors, frames, hardware, and related materials
• review hardware sets, fire ratings, opening requirements, and specifications
• prepare proposals
• request and review vendor quotations
• identify discrepancies and missing information
• coordinate with Sales and Operations
• maintain bid records
• assist with value engineering and alternative product recommendations when appropriate
• follow up on bids and support transitions to awarded contracts
• develop installation labor estimates when required.
