Service Assistant

Job overview

The Service Assistant role is onsite in North Houston, TX, with pay of $24–$26 per hour. It is a temp-to-hire opportunity supporting a busy service department and its field service technicians and leadership. The role exists to keep daily service operations organized through administrative, scheduling, documentation, and billing support. It contributes by maintaining accurate records, coordinating with technicians and customers, and helping service leadership manage routine operational needs.

What you'll do

• Provide administrative support to service leadership and field technicians
• process field service documentation, labor records, and job information in QuickBooks and customer tracking systems
• maintain calendars and coordinate meetings and schedules
• process corporate card transactions and receipts
• coordinate safety-related scheduling and documentation
• assist with customer billing documentation
• collect missing paperwork
• review technician labor information and assist with payroll preparation
• maintain service records
• communicate with customers
• provide backup support to the service administrative team.
