The role uses inspection, metrics, corrective actions, and improvement projects to resolve issues and strengthen quality performance.

What you'll do

• Manage CMM programmers, quality engineers, and technicians
• help establish organizational objectives and metrics
• conduct inspection layouts and improve inspection throughput
• analyze departmental metrics
• participate in corrective actions and issue resolution
• communicate with customers and vendors about quality issues
• oversee measurement equipment inventory
• recommend quality improvement projects
• perform hands-on work as needed.
