What you'll do

• Provide proficient-level manual labor and operations including hand digging, traffic control setup, entry-level equipment operations, placing fiber, loading materials, operating equipment, and leading crews on utility construction sites.
• Proficient with utility print and map reading.
• Operate various equipment.
• Support and lead project setup and shutdown.
• Lead and follow safety practices.
• Communicate with customers and subcontractors.
• Train other construction crew members.
• Load and unload materials.
• Lead by example.
• Perform OTJ training.
• Identify hazards using pre-task process.
• Perform other duties as requested.

What we're looking for

Education

High School Diploma or equivalent

Experience

2+ years utility construction experience as crew leader/foreman, 1+ year heavy equipment operating experience
