Application Engineer — HVAC

The Application Engineer — HVAC role is onsite in Elkridge, MD; pay is $80,000–$85,000 per year. Hobbs & Associates, part of the AIR Control Concepts family, provides HVAC products and engineering services for commercial and industrial building projects. The engineer coordinates product and technical information among customers, salespeople, product representatives and internal teams. By preparing accurate estimates, layouts, proposals and submittals and supporting fulfillment, the role helps customers apply HVAC products to project requirements.

What you'll do

• Develop working knowledge of products and solutions
• build relationships with product representatives and internal teams
• partner with salespeople and customers to identify deliverables
• answer technical questions
• interpret construction plans and specifications
• prepare system layouts, estimates and proposals
• coordinate submittals, equipment orders and schedules
• follow product changes through fulfillment.
