What you'll do

• Assess animal requirements through examinations, interviews, records, laboratory tests, and diagnostic imaging
• take vital signs and collect samples
• administer medications and vaccines and dress wounds
• assist with examinations and operations
• feed and monitor patients
• maintain clean and safe patient areas
• document care and maintain medical records
• communicate patient status to owners as directed
• maintain equipment and inventory
• release pets as directed.
