The Groundsperson — Tree and Vegetation Management role is onsite in Greenville, TN. Compensation starts at $18 per hour. The groundsperson helps crews maintain safe, clear work areas by handling brush and debris, preparing equipment and materials, and supporting tree and vegetation work. The role also includes basic equipment upkeep and protecting employees and the public around active work areas.

What you'll do

• Follow and help enforce safety rules
• clear brush and trees with hand and powered tools
• define staging areas
• set up and break down materials and equipment
• feed brush into a woodchipper
• load and unload trucks
• operate assigned trucks and equipment
• perform basic maintenance and report major repair needs
• tie knots, rope breaks, and speed lines
• safeguard the public and crew and flag traffic.
