What you'll do

• Review assigned charts for correct ICD-10 and CPT coding
• interpret progress notes and diagnostic reports to identify services and assign codes
• work with team members to educate Revenue Cycle staff on proper coding
• coordinate with Revenue Cycle on coding issues related to claims
• maintain AAPC credentials
• research coding questions to support compliance with third-party and regulatory guidelines.
