Job overview

The Line Cook role is onsite in Newark, CA, with pay of $19.00–$20.00 per hour. The cook supports the hotel restaurant, grab-and-go service, room service, and catered events at Aloft Silicon Valley. This role prepares consistently presented food and helps deliver a positive guest dining experience by following recipes, brand standards, and food-safety procedures.

What you'll do

• Set up and stock the assigned station
• prepare ingredients and cook menu items to recipe, portion, and presentation standards
• manage multiple orders and check food quality and temperature
• follow food handling, labeling, storage, sanitation, and temperature-log procedures
• keep the station and kitchen clean
• receive and rotate deliveries
• respond safely to dietary requests
• and work with hotel and kitchen staff.
