Senior Accounting Coordinator

The Senior Accounting Coordinator role is onsite in Benton Harbor, MI. Compensation is $25.64 per hour. The coordinator helps ensure grant-funded activity is billed, recorded, and reported accurately and in compliance with grantor requirements and organizational policies. The role connects financial records and budgets with program operations, purchasing, reimbursement, and audit readiness.

What you'll do

• Prepare grant and program billings, invoices, reimbursement requests, and supporting documentation
• maintain grant tracking spreadsheets and records
• prepare cost and financial reports and month-end journal entries
• compare actual expenditures and revenues with approved budgets
• follow up on outstanding payments
• support program staff and leadership with financial information
• assist with audits and site visits
• oversee purchasing compliance and resolve discrepancies.

Why this role
