Group Therapist

The Group Therapist role is in person in Keller, TX, with a Monday–Thursday schedule from 3:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. The stated hourly pay range is $30–$32. Connections Wellness Group provides mental health services, including PHP and IOP programs, to support wellness and recovery. The therapist provides group psychotherapy and counseling for patients experiencing mental health and substance-use disorders. The role supports patient progress by facilitating groups, contributing to treatment and discharge planning, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team, and helping develop evidence-based programming.

What you'll do

• Conduct individual and group therapy
• participate in treatment planning and discharge, transition, and after-care planning
• provide family counseling when therapeutically necessary
• communicate with patients, families, referral sources, and the interdisciplinary team
• complete assessments and documentation
• support vital-sign and urine drug screen capture as needed
• assist with utilization review functions as requested
• use crisis intervention and de-escalation skills
• follow confidentiality and applicable clinical requirements.

Why this role

Requires a master’s degree in social work or counseling, relevant state licensure, and a current unencumbered clinical license. CPR certification and Avade training are required during orientation week.
