Law Clerk – Legal Research & Writing (Part-Time)

The Law Clerk – Legal Research & Writing (Part-Time) role is onsite in Buffalo, NY. Compensation is $25–$35 per hour. Paramount Settlement Advisors provides settlement planning and lien-resolution services in partnership with personal injury law firms. The clerk supports a supervising attorney on litigation matters through legal research, analysis, drafting, and case-file management. Accurate, well-supported work helps attorneys and plaintiffs navigate settlement-related legal matters with clear and consistent guidance.

What you'll do

• Research case law, statutes, and procedural rules, including New York CPLR
• prepare research memoranda and case-law summaries with proper citations
• assist with drafting motions, briefs, memoranda of law, and discovery materials for attorney review
• cite-check and proofread drafts
• maintain organized case files in case-management software
• track documents, outstanding items, and case milestones.
