SJ’s Pharmacy supports inpatient behavioral health and forensic residential care through an open- and closed-door pharmacy operation. The pharmacist provides clinical and operational oversight to help ensure medication orders are reviewed accurately, medication processes comply with applicable requirements, and patients receive safe, timely therapy. The role works closely with pharmacy technicians, nurses, prescribers, and facility leadership to resolve issues and improve medication-use workflows.

What you'll do

• Review and verify medication orders
• resolve clinical and insurance-related issues
• support medication reconciliation and cycle-fill processes
• respond to nursing and provider questions
• oversee medication safety, regulatory compliance, controlled-substance accountability, inventory, and formulary management
• support workflow improvement and accurate, timely medication preparation and delivery.
