Payment Specialist II

The specialist processes cashier transactions and payments accurately and on time. The role reviews incoming payments and payoffs, reconciles discrepancies, coordinates with other departments, and supports related reporting and account research for the Cash department.

What you'll do

• Process payment and payoff transactions using internal servicing software
• review and sort payments received by mail
• coordinate rejected payments and payoffs with other departments
• monitor reports, faxes, and email to ensure timely application
• verify checks, batches, and payments
• research and reconcile outstanding items and discrepancies
• assist with payment interfaces, wires, transmittals, reports, and account research
• complete daily JIRA tasks.
