What you'll do

• Assist patients
• record vital signs in electronic medical records
• prepare patients for examinations
• sterilize instruments and maintain stocked exam rooms
• obtain prior authorizations as needed
• communicate lab results
• perform patient service checks
• maintain equipment and vaccination records
• assist physicians in surgery when required by specialty
• educate patients
• mentor and orient new nursing staff.
