The Patient Liaison (Patient Recruiter) – Clinical Research role is onsite in Birmingham, AL, with stated pay of $24–$27 per hour. The liaison supports patient recruitment by pre-screening and scheduling potential participants, helping eligible patients move through enrollment, and maintaining follow-up and study records. The role contributes to regional recruitment goals through patient communication, referral relationships, outreach, and coordination with site and recruitment leadership.

What you'll do

• Conduct onsite patient pre-screening and pre-qualification
• assess potential participant eligibility
• manage follow-up, reminders, rescheduling, and screening schedules
• track no-shows and ineligible candidates
• manage physician referrals and patient portal leads
• update CTMS records
• create targeted call lists
• support recruitment metrics and goals
• address barriers to study entry
• maintain study knowledge
• support community outreach and, as needed, recruiter training.
